Polyester Underwear Fabric

 

The advantages of polyester underwear fabrics include:

High strength: The strength of polyester staple fibers is 2.6~5.7cN/dtex, and that of high-strength fibers is 5.6~8.0cN/dtex. Due to its low hygroscopicity, its wet strength is basically the same as its dry strength.
Strong elasticity: The elasticity of polyester fabrics is close to that of wool. When stretched by 5%~6%, it can almost completely recover. If the polyester fabrics are repeatedly rubbed, they can quickly recover their original shape without leaving wrinkles. The elastic modulus is 22~141cN/dtex, which is 2~3 times higher than nylon.
Good heat resistance: Polyester is made by melt spinning, and the formed fibers can be melted again by heating, and are thermoplastic fibers. Moreover, the melting point of polyester is relatively high, and its specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are relatively small, so the heat resistance and thermal insulation of polyester fibers are much better than other synthetic fibers.
Corrosion resistance: Polyester fabrics are resistant to acidic corrosives such as bleach, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids, resistant to dilute alkali, and not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can decompose them. They also have strong resistance to acid and alkali, and UV rays.
